Lil Wayne Hearts Kobe Bryant
How does Kobe Bryant get a tribute song from Lil Weezyiana before CP3? I hope Wayne gets banished from New Orleans for this move. Oh, and the Black Mamba really has to win that championship now.

Lil Wayne - Politics (Feat. Gudda Gudda)
Lil Wayne sounds a bit coherent on this here “Politics,” which features some cheeseham named Gudda Gudda. So I’ll go out on a limb and guess that he’s probably off the syrup for now.
Dear Weezy, please get back on drugs. Your next album is doomed to fail if you continue to sound coherent like this. Why risk your unparalleled legacy over something as stupid as sobriety when you can easily borrow some brain candy from Eminem?
“Politics” supposedly appears on Weezy’s rock album, The Rebirth, because there’s something about Lil Wayne that just screams rock-n-roll.
The Greatest Rapper Alive. The Bob Dylan of Rap. The Grammy-iest Rapper of 2009. You can now add King of Rock to Lil Wayne’s long list of designations which, according to my non-scientific research, is the 2nd longest list of anything in hip-hop history (second only to DMX’s rap sheet, in case you’re wondering). It’s all part of the media’s grand plan to endow Weezy with supreme universal power and convert us into little Weezyianas.

Here’s Hip-Hop Overlord Lil Wayne with 10 reasons why he’s so looking forward to the Grammys, including an opportunity to hang out with the Jonas Brothers. Weezy tries very hard to appear affable for the Letterman crowd. That’s the equivalent of Bill O’Reilly trying to host The Factor without bullying his guests.

Katie Couric goes bowling with Master Wayne and asks insightful questions like “Can you walk me through your face,” “Do I call you Wayne, Weezy, or Lil?” and the best one, “Is your ball fancy?”
Q-Tip - “Renaissance Rap” Remix (Ft. Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, & Lil Wayne)
What do Q-Tip and Busta Rhymes have in common? For starters, they both hold the same “person” responsible for hip-hop’s demise. Whatever that means. More importantly, they’re senior citizen rappers who have managed to stay relevant without resorting to brainless gimmicks. So, drink to this, Internets, and keep senior citizen rappers from going extinct.
PS: Some might think that the presence of Lil Wayne on a song alongside three rap elder statesmen symbolizes a passing of the torch from one generation to another. You’re dead wrong. Master Wayne agreed to appear on the “Renaissance Rap” remix so as to acknowledge a few of the lyricists he has influenced over the years. Carry on.
PPS: How weird is it that Megaupload generated the following verification code while I was downloading this song: “A-S-S”?

The most important musician of our generation will be immortalized in a new documentary by QD3. And I ain’t talking about those hood DVDs you buy 50 cents a pop at Stop ‘N’ Go either. This one-in-a-lifetime documentary on the God MC Weezy F. Baby is set to premier at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival. It will peel back the veil and reveal the genius behind the wordsmith we’ve come to know as Lil Weezy in all his glory.

Weezy calls out Eminem for a collaboration, “I’m not calling you out to diss you ’cause I can’t fuck with you,” he says, “but please come out here and do a record with me.” And for those of you who have been hounding me about Wayne having the best verse on “Mr. Carter,” you might want to listen up close around the 4 minute mark. He says he would’ve written a better verse if he had to actually go into the studio with Jay.
Ladies and Gents, here’s the official music video for T-Wayne’s “Can’t Believe It.”
