Apparently The Source is still around.

In case you haven’t heard, Lil’ Wayne and his Adam’s apple were arrested today by the DEA.

The 25-year-old faces charges of possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Bratcher said Carter’s bus was stopped about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at a Border Patrol checkpoint near Dateland, Ariz., 120 kilometres east of Yuma.

Apparently, they found copious amounts of marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs in Weezy’s tour bus and took him in.

Weezy is back on the cover of Ozone’s annual sex issue, this time without his daddy.

Lil Wayne debuted “Gossip,” supposedly off Tha Carter III, at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Weezy has his moments, but this is definitely not one of them, though you wouldn’t know it from the crowd’s reaction. After watching this video a couple of times, I still don’t understand how Wayne can be touted as the second coming of Rakim with an average flow and a litany of lazy punchlines.

Am I missing something here? Is there a special equipment in the market that might help me enjoy Weezy’s music like everyone else? Who knows, maybe my tastes are gradually evolving as I get older.
