Russell Simmons hosted his 1st Annual “Salute to Grammy Award Nominees” After Party following last night’s Grammys. In attendance were T.I., Taraji Henson, Kim Kardashian, and one of Hef’s broads from The Girls Next Door, Bridget Marquard. The 2009 Grammys went down last night. To summarize, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss swept the awards and mopped the floor with Lil Wayne’s dreads. Weezy was robbed of his Album of the Millennium award for the timeless masterpiece that we now know as Tha Carter III. Still, he managed to walk home with 4 gramophones, including one for the greatest rap song of all time — “Lollipop.” The show was relatively free of drama (meaning no Kanye bitchfest this year…well, just one).
