I want to start by saying that I am not a Rihanna fan by any stretch of the imagination (As a matter of fact, I don’t listen to R&B at all. And if I did, it still wouldn’t be her. It’s even possible that I would be less likely to listen to her music if I actually enjoyed R&B. But, I digress). But I have to take issue with the latest of tomfoolery of her ex-boyfriend. Chris Brown says in his sit-down with Sway from MTV that his concern at this point is finding a way to turn this situation into something positive and become the person that he wants to be. And while, that’s what we would all like to think, it is not that easy to believe. From this blogger’s seat, it looks apparent that his concern at this point is covering Vibe magazine, scheduling his album’s release date, defending that album’s cover via Twitter, recording a romantic music video with another young R&B singer, and in-short: Very literally not changing a damned thing! Rihanna – Russian Roulette [mp3]

The Ne-Yo-penned “Russian Roulette” is the lead single from Rih Rih’s new album, Rated R, due November 23. You gotta love how Def Jam kept the project under wraps until they were ready to launch a full-blown promo run. That’s one way to combat piracy if you’re a big name artist. It’s career suicide if you’re a no-name artist.

Okay, the title’s a bit misleading because this video’s all Rihanna. The plot centers around Rihanna touching herself for 4 minutes. Not that anyone’s complaining. Oh, and if Rih Rih looks like she needs acting lessons in this clip it’s because she does.

“Rihanna will start filming Personal Protection later this year,” an insider told nydailynews.com. “She’s not ready, actingwise, yet, so she’s meeting with a coach.”
