Saigon ‘Warning Shots 2′ TV Commercial
Warning Shots 2 drops on October 6, same day as Budden’s Escape Route and Royce’s Street Hop. Man, I’m going to have a hard time deciding which one of the three to pick up on that day.

I remember when “Gotta Believe It” made its web debut last year. I thought this was going to be Sai-Giddy’s last real opportunity to finally get his album off the ground. Instead, he ended up severing ties with Atlantic Records and has now relegated his career to the mixtape/digital circuits. It’s almost sad to see him go from most anticipated to one of the most underappreciated in 4 years. Label politics and silly beefs will do that to you.
Yes, Sai Giddy has another album scheduled to drop on the same label he once dissed. And yes, it’s lazily titled Warning Shots 2. New Rule: No more serial rap album titles. If you can’t think of a unique sub-title, the project probably isn’t worth releasing. Or just ask Jay-Z (aka the King of serial rap albums) and he’ll hook you up with a fresh title.
Warning Shots 2 arrives on September 29th, 2009.
Saigon did a show in Arizona at Club Red the other night and Arizona-based rapper, Random, caught up with him to ask some questions for his youtube page (Apparently JoeBuddenTV is onto something). A visibly inebriated Saigon drops a little knowledge on us that he heard from his lawyer: He is still signed to Atlantic records.
Other highlights from the video include a few reasons not to talk to girls when you’re drunk, a short conversation about violence in Philadelphia, his upcoming collaboration with OJ da Juiceman, and Saigon letting us know that he’s up on the latest dipset drama.
For those who aren’t familiar with Random, feel free to educate yourselves!
Saigon has a new album dubbed All in a Day’s Work. The album was allegedly recorded and produced in 1 day (24 hours). Eh, aren’t all rap albums these days? Anyhoo, proceed for your All in a Day’s Work swag bag.

Saigon – “Pushing Buddens”
Saigon crawls back from the dead to remind the world of his weird obsession with Joe Budden’s son. Sounds like he has a big crush on Budden’s girl too. Oh, and Saigon murdered Joe Budden on his own beat. Budden 1, Saigon 0.5 [Props: Ill Roots]
Previously on Joe Budden vs. Saigon:
Joe Budden – “Letter to Saigon”
Saigon – “Underachiever”
Joe Budden – “Pain In His Life”

Saigon – Underachiever (Joe Budden Diss)
Well, that was fast. Here’s Saigon’s response to Joe Budden’s “Letter to Saigon.” He also goes after Budden’s son, Little Trae, for some weird reason. Let’s stay classy, Saigon!
They diss. You decide. Who won Round 1?
[Thanks, Legend]
