It looks like a reunion of sorts: Dre, Snoop, Game, hanging out in the studio. Snoop tweeted this picture along with the following message: “What can be more gangsta than dis? We n the studio right now!!! get ready for the west coast takeover. this is how the west was one!!!”

The European TRU connection is back! I’ve been out vacationing for a little while and one of my trips was to this year’s edition of my favourite festival: a Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise. One of the headliners was Snoop D O double G, who took full advantage of the less strict marijuana laws in my native country of The Netherlands. Notice the 2:44 mark in this video where Snoop is presented with a a full-grown tree by an audience member and proceeds to kick a special freestyle.

In case you’re wondering why Snoop Dogg, who’s already a millionaire, is trying to rob Who Wants To Be A Millionaire of $50,000, he was actually playing on behalf of his charity the Snoop Youth Football League. Now that’s gangsta.
80 year-old astronaut and one of the only men alive to walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin (yes, that one…dust off the History book), says that he only has two passions: Space exploration and Hip-Hop! So, he teamed up with Snoop Dogg and Talib Kweli to take another giant leap for mankind. Nothing is more deserving of the title of “Deeper than rap” than a rap about deep space. So far, his contributions to the a trip to the moon and an instant rap classic; it kinda makes you wonder what you’re doing with your life, doesn’t it?

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt at a taping for Snoop’s new MTV show Dogg After Dark
Uh-oh, someone went and gave Snoop Dogg a variety show on MTV. It’s called Dogg After Dark and I have a great suggestion for some of the show’s segments: Money, Bitches, and Weed. For the Money segment, Lil Wayne makes an appearance and schools the audience on how to make it rain with fake bills. For Weed, nothing would make better TV than seeing Snoop square off against Devin the Dude in a weed-smoking contest. As for the last segment, well Snoop needs no advice there. Snoop gets more hoes than ThunderCats. Dogg After Dark debuts on Tuesday, Feb. 17th at 9pm ET/PT on MTV.

Caught in the middle of the wildfires that destroyed hundreds of homes in California, Snoop Dogg and family were asked to evacuate. We gather that the fires, to the north, north-west and south of L.A. burnt through dry forest before unleashing its wrath on suburban communities.
According to the LA Times, homeowners in Snoop’s neighborhood, “an exclusive gated-community in Diamond Bar,” were asked to evacuate. Snoop and family were among the thousands of California residents that evacuated as wildfires blazed through town. In true Snoop fashion, his family left in a caravan full of caged dogs.
Snoop’s neighborhood wasn’t the only area affected by the California fires.
“Among the 14,000 homeowners in Montecito are the talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, the film director, Steven Spielberg, and actors John Cleese, Michael Douglas, Christopher Lloyd and Steve Martin.” [via: Telegraph]

Snoop Dogg probably needed an excuse to party with Australian models, so he decided to throw a bash for his newly launched Notorious eyewear range. The launch party went down at Nevermind Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. Check out some more party pics after the gap.
