Fans sometimes gripe that football isn’t as physical as it used to be. Panthers CB Dante Wesley has heard your complaints and is doing his part to change that. For instance, check out this insane play where Wesley nearly decapitates unprotected Bucs returner Clifton Smith. Smith didn’t return to the game because of the concussion he sustained from that vicious hit. Both benches cleared and a melee ensued. Wesley was ejected. Here’s the clip:

Allen Iverson is Going to Go Ahead and Just Win a Championship for the Grizzlies

Allen Iverson announced via Twitter that God has picked him to transform the Memphis Grizzlies from perennial lottery contenders to NBA contenders. After entertaining offers from Miami and Charlotte, A.I. decided to go with Memphis. The 34-year old veteran is expected to sign a $3.5 million one-year deal with Memphis within the next 24 hours.

I know what you’re thinking and the answer is yes, THAT Ricky “Runnin” Watters of the Superbowl XXIX champion San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles. One of my best friends is a (Pre-Vick,  Mcnabb, and TO) Eagles fan and he spotted this over at the 700 Level today.
