Having fulfilled his contractual obligations at Rap-A-Lot, Trae is now a free agent. If you’re keeping tab, that’s 2 big exits (Devin made his move in February) at RAL in the last 3 months alone. What’s really going on over there?

Konsole Kingz recently blessed Trae (and 49 other artists) with their VIP program for XBOX 360. Yup, that’s a limited edition Grand Theft Auto IV 360 console he’s clutching. I think I’m in the wrong business.
After yesterday’s debate, I’m leaning towards 360 still weighing my options.
Almost forgot that Trae’s second record, Life Goes On, quietly dropped on Tuesday (thanks, Matt). Seriously, if you don’t buy any other CD this month, you should definitely pick up Life Goes On. Even though I heard a pre-release version of the joint a gazillion times, I’m still going to cop the retail next time I’m at BB. You should do the same, if you care about raw talent.

Rap-A-Lot threw a listening party for Trae’s new album (due out 9/25) last night at Dave & Busters. I don’t have much to tell you about the album, because I spent the entire 2 1/2 hrs scheming on how to jack that tee from Trae.
The boy Enigmatik (from Boo Goo Doo Boom) was in the place to be. In fact, he has the lowdown on Life Goes On.
