T.I. and Xzibit flash a smile for the camera at the latter’s San Diego concert. Oh hey, you should probably follow X to tha Z on Twitter since he’s giving away $10,000 and other heavenly goodies to random Twitteronians.
“Carry the Weight” is a powerful analysis of Xzibit’s strained relationship with his father. Apologies to the few good dads out there, I didn’t mean to ruin your Father’s Day celebration. It was either this or “Poppa Was a Playa.” Ha! Hey if it helps, I can relate to both songs.
Happy Father’s Day.

Previously unreleased video for “Thank You,” from Xzibit’s 2006 LP, Full Circle. This was easily the most genuine song on that album.

It’s 4:32 am and Xzibit’s got some bad news
[Video spotted at: illRoots]
Sorry to hit you with back-to-back bad news, but Xzibit has given us great music for the last 12 years.
Yesterday, X blogged about the sudden death of his newborn son, Xavier.
“Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unnatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when i’m having great times, life is too short to be fake. “
He adds:
“Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, don’t take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and i’m not one to question God’s perfect plan.”
Props to HipHopDX for the lead.
