Young Buck is a Cry Baby

Young Buck: “Sh*t got me confused, man…” *sob* *sob*
50 Cent: “You gotta stay close to me so you won’t be confused.”

Despite all his tough talk on wax Young Buck was reduced to tears when talking to Boo Boo on the phone. Apparently, he wants to be reinstated into G-Unit, but that doesn’t seem likely. Instead, 50 Cent will milk this for what it’s worth until he’s done promoting T.O.S. 50 barely interrupted him which should have been a dead giveaway that he was recording the conversation. Buck Marley is a dope rapper and all, but this right here is a low for him.

Hey Curtis, looks like you’re missing out on some good music, man.

50 Cent to Young Buck: “You’re Fired!”

50-and-buck.jpg

I don’t know if it was my post on 10 Reasons Why Buck’s Losing His Mind or just dumb luck, but it happened today for some reason. Boo Boo has officially booted Buck from G-Unit the group, but says he’s still under contract with G-Unit Records.

From AHH:

“You can look at it and see that’s Game [former G-Unit rapper] all the way. I was giving him a chance, giving him the benefit of the doubt [to remain with the group]. You can take this as an official notice right here – pretty much you can say: Young Buck is no longer in the group G-Unit, but signed to G-Unit [Records] as a solo artist,” 50 Cent told DJ Envy, a co-host on the Hot 97 Morning Show with Miss Jones.

This is good news for Buck. No?

10 (Possible) Reasons Why Buck’s Losing His Mind

Monday, April 7th, 2008

Who unleashed the monster?

10. That last check from 50 bounced inexplicably
9. Buck the World sold fewer copies than Now That’s What I Call Music! 24
8. DJ Khaled told him to “listennnnn”
7. He didn’t get to do that collaboration him and Pimp C talked about
6. He’s been thinking but can’t seem to come up with a logical explanation for being excluded from Blood in the Sand’s cast of characters, while every other G-Unit member was included
5. He has a good idea for a collabo with Game but is afraid the boss might disapprove
4. 50 told him to shut down Cashville Records or walk
3. He’s having trouble figuring out how to market Outlawz without invoking 2Pac’s name
2. He heard about 50’s plans to replace him with John Brown
1. His braids are too tight

50 Cent feat. Young Buck - Party Ain’t Over

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

50-and-buck.jpg

“Party Ain’t Over” is one of the songs that didn’t make G-Unit’s Return of the Snatchers mixtape. In a desperate attempt to prove that Buck is still tied to his shoestrings, Boo Boo quickly asked him to drop a verse on the track.

[Shout out to Cristian for the heads up]

Young Buck - Drivin’ Down the Freeway

Young Buck ft. Outlawz & Dion - Drivin’ Down the Freeway
(Produced by the indomitable Hi-Tek)

“Drivin’ Down the Freeway” was touted as an Outlawz single when I first posted it six months ago. It’s now being pushed as the lead single from Buck’s upcoming non-G-Unit CD, Product of the South, slated for April. I guess Buck decided it was too good a song to waste on an Outlawz album.

Speaking of Buck Marley, dude is one hell of a phenomenon. He went from being 50’s pawn to signing Pac’s weed carriers to his own label. Too bad we can’t say the same for Yayo.

The Unit has been awful quiet ever since Curtis tanked. So Buck Marley decided to break the silence. Here’s Buck putting his own G-Unit spin on Lupe Fiasco’s “Superstar.”
