Gil Scott Heron – Where Did The Night Go [Video + MP3]

Download: Gil Scott-Heron – “Where Did the Night Go”
I was told that I’m no longer allowed to call myself a hip-hop head if I don’t post this awesome video of GSH performing “Where Did The Night Go.” So I threw in the mp3 to be sure. Scott-Heron’s first new album in 16 years, I’m New Here, is set for an early 2010 release via XL.

The World’s Largest Record Collection

Paul Mawhinney holds the unofficial record for the world’s largest record collection. In this video, Mawhinney says that 83% of his material is unavailable on CD, “Eighty-three percent of the music that I have on those shelves you can’t buy at any price, anywhere!” Amazing.

Mawhinney is trying to sell his collection of 1 million albums and 1.5 million singles, which is worth about $50 million. Paul is only asking for $3 million. Someone at the Library of Congress should give Paul a call.
